
Tabitha G. Emsley, Psy.D
About Her:
Tabitha G. Emsley, Psy.D. obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Kentucky in 2007. She attended Spalding University where she earned both a Master’s degree in clinical psychology (2010) and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology (2013). She completed an American Psychological Association accredited internship at Illinois State University. She was licensed as a psychologist in North Carolina from 2014 to 2018 and then in Colorado since 2017.
Prior to working in private practice, Dr. Emsley practiced in VA medical centers and in college counseling centers. She has extensive experience training psychology interns and continues to have an interest in teaching and training. Dr. Emsley specializes in the treatment of PTSD and other trauma-related disorders and has vast experience working with patients with histories of sexual assault, domestic violence, and combat- and first responder-related trauma. Dr. Emsley is also proficient in various psychological assessments including ADHD testing, memory testing, IQ testing, and presurgical evaluations.
Dr. Emsley is a mother of 3 beautiful children and you can often catch her at various sporting events rooting for her kids.
